I’m so grateful that you stopped by! I am a Certified Functional Medicine Health Coach and I work with women who are struggling to feel better, get their energy back, raise a healthy family, and heal from the inside out!
I’m a Pediatrician turned SAHM who, at one time, was struggling with multiple health problems in my 3 kids. I became extremely frustrated that, despite all of my years of training in pediatrics, I wasn’t able to help my own children! And the only solution seemed to be pharmaceuticals, each with a long list of side effects. This struggle inspired me to choose another path- one of natural healing and prevention. I was amazed to discover that through diet and lifestyle changes, we were not only able to overcome these health challenges, but also to improve our lives in many other ways alhamdulillah. Through my Functional Medicine Health Coaching, I’m now passionate about helping other women to take control of their health and the health of their families!
What is Functional Medicine?
Functional Medicine (FM) seeks to determine and address the root cause of illness and disease, instead of focusing on and managing only the symptoms. There are so many factors which can contribute to poor health, whether it be physical, emotional, mental, social, spiritual or environmental influences. The Functional Medicine approach takes all of these into account, and aims not only to get you symptom free, but to move you beyond that to a state of vitality and well-being.
I often work with women who are:
- Feeling overwhelmed and just plain worn out from juggling so many life responsibilities.
- Struggling to get their kids to touch a vegetable (I’ve been there!)
- Wanting to improve the health of their families, but not knowing where to begin.
- Struggling with health issues which doctors don’t seem to have answers to, such as eczema, chronic pain, infertility, painful/heavy periods, resistant weight loss, or auto-immune disorders.
- Wanting to increase movement and improve their alignment.
- Striving to achieve life balance as a global pandemic disrupts every aspect of our lives.
- Tired of living with a “woulda-shoulda-coulda” mentality in life, knowing that they were meant for more.

Private Health Coaching
6-Week Wellness Program
In this 6-week Private Functional Medicine Health Coaching program, we’ll work together to create a personalized wellness plan designed just for you. First, I’ll help you to identify areas of your life that you wish to improve upon and together, then we’ll co-create a plan based on those goals. I’ll guide you through the process of implementing the plan to help you achieve a more fulfilling, healthy life!
This program includes:
- A 60-minute initial session to discuss your vision for optimal health.
- Five 30-minute follow-up sessions to track your progress.
- Optional Functional Medicine food plans for several different dietary types, including recipes and grocery lists.
- Access to many other Functional Medicine resources to help you reach your individual goals.
- Optional Grocery store tour and Pantry makeover suggestions.
- WhatsApp or email support.
3-Month Wellness Program
This program allows us more time to work through the changes needed to reach your goals. This program is recommended for those looking to make major diet or lifestyle changes, or those suffering from chronic health issues. With this 3-month Private Functional Medicine Health Coaching program, we can dive deeper into your goals. We’ll work through what’s holding you back and make sure you have the support you need to regain your health.
This program includes:
- A 60-minute initial session to discuss your vision for optimal health.
- Eleven 30-minute weekly follow-up sessions to track your progress.
- Optional Functional Medicine food plans for several different dietary types, including recipes and grocery lists.
- Access to many other Functional Medicine resources to help you reach your individual goals.

Grocery Store Tours & Pantry Makeovers
Are you trying to eat healthier but find grocery shopping confusing or overwhelming? I will show you how to navigate the never-ending aisles of food products, make sense of food labels and show you more health-oriented areas of the store.
Based on your goals or recommendations from your medical practitioner, we’ll meet at the grocery store of your choice and talk about:
- Managing shopping when you’re eating habits have changed (i.e. organic vs not organic, gluten free, etc.).
- Reading food labels.
- Introducing new ingredients.
- How to spot healthy, on-the-go options.
- In addition, I’ll provide grocery shopping and meal planning tips.
