These no-bake 5-ingredient Chocolate Haystacks are super fast and easy to make. And I’ve never met a person who doesn’t love them!
My 10-year old daughter was so happy to discover that she can make these Chocolate Haystacks all by herself. Perhaps a little too happy…
“Are you hungry, Mom? Let’s make Haystacks!”
“Mom, I’m bored. Let’s make Haystacks!”
“Hey Mom, my tooth just fell out. Let’s make Haystacks!”
😜
At least I can feel good about giving her a nourishing snack!
These Chocolate Haystacks are:
- a good source of protein
- naturally sweetened with dates (and refined-sugar free if you use these chocolate chips)
- gluten-free
This summer we attended a big family reunion and my daughter made 2 huge trays of these. They disappeared very quickly!
We also like the fact that this recipe is very easy to memorize… no searching for that piece of paper (or on your phone, tablet, etc) for where you saved the recipe. Just 5 ingredients and 1/2 cup of each ingredient.
Unless you have kids like mine who try to convince you to make an enormous batch and use 1 cup of each ingredient!
